We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the Coach House which is one of several outbuildings from the main hotel. The bed was extra large and comfortable and the shower was always hot. Parking was next to the Coach house which made unloading luggage and coming and going easy. Although it rained on our stay umbrellas were provided inside the doors. We particularly enjoyed the Conservatory space which is where we had our meals with a view of a small garden. The evening meals we had in the hotel were excellent and a good choice of dishes. But what really made the stay so good was the friendliness of the staff and the service we received from them, particularly from the front of house team who also doubled up as waitresses.Good service makes all the difference to us.

This propertiy has rooms spread over more than 2 buildings, so the comfort of stay really depends on what building/room you are in. We had a small, but newly renovated room with good heating. The best part of this hotel was all the staff I've encountered. They are all excellent communicaters who listen and try to cater any problems you may have. The Breafast room was very inviting and the menus were all better than I expected. There is a bus stop very nearby(just in front of the hotel) and it has good bus connections into the city and to outskirts. (Perfect place to stay if you have business at Norwich research park & the University of East Anglia) Personally, I walked to the city centre and even to the train station.

The hotel is lovely throughout. It is spread across three buildings. We had an Executive Double Suite and it was fantastic, spacious and comfortable. The staff were great, especially Matthew, who took care of our needs over the 4 days. We didn't have breakfast, but we had dinner and the food was excellent. There is also a garden area with a fishpond. The hotel is ideally placed for Norwich Town Centre, it is a 12 minute walk using the underpass. There is also a bus stop across the road if you don't fancy the walk, and another stop right outside the hotel for the return journey. The buses are the 11 and 12 pink line.

A striking looking hotel both outside and in. Decor was very tasteful which created a welcoming atmosphere. This was reinforced by the friendly staff who were always willing to help. Diane particularly was so friendly and helpful Our room was spacious and the furnishings were of good quality . The decor was of a high standard and in keeping with the period of the building. Everywhere was scrupulously clean. We marvelled at the vine, rooted outside but cultivated in the glassed corridor area which connected the reception area to the accommodation area. The breakfast were really good and there was plenty of choice

Chosen because of the great location. It gave us a comfortable base near the centre of Norwich so we could go and explore this historic and character full city. We didn't need the car at all, walked everywhere and just left it in the free car park. Staff were all lovely. Food was good, generous portions and value for money. Room wasn't the biggest but bed was very comfy and it was clean and comfortable. stairs could be a problem for some but the receptionist offered to get help with our bags when we arrived and left.
